Sun, Sea , Sand .... well not the sand part really

I only managed to get these from that other blog i posted, but i got other stuff (for on holiday) which was all really pretty and mostly from zara . I even managed to wear everything i took - wich was allot - twice !

So this is long overdue, but as I'm on exam leave I've been pretty busy. I got back from sunny Tenerife two weeks ago and already it seems my much loved tan is beginning to fade. I really miss the great weather and lazy days ; Scotland is soo rainy and cold - i really don't like it. I loved it in Tenerife thought, the weather there is amazingg and everything there is soo much prettier than it is here ....

This is mine and my brothers room being cleaned out after we left. It was really nice and we had our own fridge to pig out from which was mostly full of Oreos, peanut butter and haribo. Our midnight snacks were the best. There wasn't a TV but that really wasn't a problem at all as we were rarely ever in the apartment due to the weather. But every night we'd watch a film on my brothers ipod using the ipod speakers, the screen was soo tiny it must have looked pretty funny. It was good though, i liked good luck chuck so we watched that most.

This was the laguna at the back of the pool area. It was a natural sea water pool full with colourful fish and huge red crabs which i was pretty scared of - the move so fast and their pincher things were massive.
That's my dad diving in, i did it too - quite allot ; it was so much fun because it was really deep and you could jump or dive off all the rocks.

That was the pool. It had sea water in it which was kinda cool because it was like being at the beach but without the annoying sticky sand. It was also freeezing which was great as sunbathing in 25 degrees is overwhelmingly hot and as soon as you jump in the pool you are instantly cooled. I don't think i could have coped without it orrr the copious amounts of Hawaiian tropic sun lotion that i applied each day - without that i would have been red raw instead of beautifully sun kissed.

These girls had a water fight ; it was really funny to watch as one of the just really didn't want to .join in and they all kept ganging up on her so she was screaming and shouting. Made me laugh;

This was the cost line of the south side of the Island, right next to the pool. These rocks were crawling with huge creepy crabs which were bright red. But i couldn't get a picture because as soon as you make a noise or move they all scurry away under the rocks. I also got in trouble from the coastguard as we weren't supposed to go down there. opps.

That was the harbour, we walked along it each night after we got ice cream. You can see really far out from up there ; we even seen dolphins twice. We also went on a bout trip out to see whales and dolphins which was amazzing and soo beautiful, it was the best part of the holiday but the pictures got ruined by a big splash from one of the whales.

It wass pretty, veryy.

That's the view from my mum and dad's apartment. Not as good as ours though ....

Best till last , our balcony view. The colours of this place are amazing. I loved watching all the boats coming in and out. There were little fish in the harbour too which i could see from the balcony ; we'd throw bits of bread and sweets in the water for them and watch them eat them all.

The holiday was pretty great. I don't really get to go away ofter so when i do i make the most of it. I got to wear allot of really nice clothes and i almost bought a Pepe jeans red dress for $80 but i decided to save my money for when i got to Paris with my friends Kate and Rachel, that's going to be amazzzing - really can't wait.

I want to see all the designer shops and visit all the thrift stores and markets.

i want to go now ....

I Heart Daria Werbowy ...

Originally hailing from Krakow,Poland this well established Canadian Model and Ukrainian descendant and citizen has made herself well know on the fashion scene for all the right reasons.
She was discovered at the impressive age of just 14 - sporting a willowy 5f11 frame and braces - by a fellow Toronto,Canada school girl's mother. She was placed in a small modelling agency known as Model&Talent where she worked on small sets for local adverts. She seen realised her abilities and grew tired of this small town agency and took a step forward : moving to Elite Models.
It was there that she developed her talents and really found herself however her exceptional talents and abilities were soon noticed by an even greater league of agency - IMG models.
It was here that her career flourished.
To date she has worked with many - varied and wide. The likes of Chanel,Prada, versace, vallentino, Pepe Jeans, Vogue, YSL, Gucci, Roberto Calvalli , Louis Vuitton and many more have all enjoyed her expertise. She has also appeared on 21 covers of Vogue and holds the record of the opening and closing the most shows in one season. Quite an achievement.
Above all this she is about the 9th highest earning model world wide, just falling short to the likes of Gisele, Kate and Heidi. She has a staggering annual income of 3.5 million.

In my opinion she is somewhat of a relevation. There have been no previous models of her sort. She has distinctive looks unlike any other models on the runway : she stands out. This is was makes her so sucessful. That and her unintentional sexual visage. Her sex appeal is what makes her stand out from any other and gains her many campaigns like this cover of I-D for example and the beach shoot below for instance. An excellent explanation of this comes from askmen.com : Daria's allure isn't exactly sex appeal, at least not the kind exhibited by the likes of Michelle Alves and Carolyn Murphy. Instead, Daria has that nymph-like magnetism; she would fit perfectly beside Liv Tyler in Lord of the Rings. She is, however, perfectly capable of throwing a provocative stare, and we all saw how carnally hot she can be when we were treated to some topless shots in Numro magazine.

However this models intrest do not lie only in Fashio. To get away from it she enjoys basketball and surfing , this - she claims - is what keeps her fit.

When interviewed journalists often comment on her ability to make the people she is talking to feel important and that she has a genuine interest in them and what they are saying/asking. She is well known as being genuine and "real" : Generally down to earth which - nowadays- is surprising and uncommon for someone of her status.

"I know it's a cliché, but you've got to be yourself. The minute you lose your morals and lose a bit of your soul, it'll take you in like that. Just be yourself. There's going to be ups, there's going to be downs, there's going to be great days, but really crappy ones too. So just try to find a balance, stay true to yourself and enjoy every little bit of it along the way."

up above the downtown market briggs

Well this is going to be pretty random as it's about 3 am and im wide awake feeling like writing about anything that comes to me .

I just got back from Tenerife which was amazing so im planning on posting some of my phone pics from that and maybe writing a bit on my journeys and fellow holiday makers.
im pretty tanned which i l o v e , i dont want it to fade ever which will most preberly mean i will soon resort to spay tans which wil have an orange tinge and a few streaks here and there - not a good look. oh well
t'will be fun while it lasts.

I was also just reading through all my favourite fashion sites and came apon a fellow blogspotter ( however i can hardly call myself a blogger as i nevver have time to do this ever, or even know how to work it properly - will come in due time. but for now compared to this blogger i am a nothing ) on an article on teenvogue.
Fashion Toast

she has ammazing style and her blog is great, she models all her self styled outfits and employs her boyfriend as a photographer when hes about. Also, she sells stuff on ebay for pretty cheep all vintage and amazing ofcrourse, if i had any money at all at the moment i'd definately be biding. I just thought i'd mention her as shes a pretty good inspiration.

i really shouldnt be up at this time of night seeing as i got up at 8 am yesterdayy, and only got in from my flight at 4 ish the day before, large black circles should really be apearing below my eyes by this time however thankfully that never really happenes to me. I think it might be the bodyshop elderflower eye gel i use ever day and night, my mum swears by it and now so do i , especially as it is priced at a very respectable £7 , pretty good investment i'd say.
However despite not having to deal with black eyes i will predominantly be as tired as i was dragging my bag through tenerife in the blistering hot weather at 22degrees , tomorrow when im out shopping with my friend kate, i really cant wait as ive now not been shopping for a grand total of ..... 12 days! shocker
well, i was in a few shops on holiday but they really don't count.

So all night ivew just been catching up with all the fashion stuff on the web and talking to Kate and Rachel on msn. I've also been trying on all my stuff , which is allways fun and jumping around to shuffled music on my ipod hence the slightly random heading away up there ^^. Right now im wearing from heap to toe : a flowery white and pink hairband from top shop, a short puff-ball sleved white cotton top from gap, my kate moss blue dress curtesy of topshop - i really love it however rarely i get to wear it, thin black see-through tights and these really cool boots i picked up in new look the other day which i supose are my subsitute to uggs as evverybody has them now adays , there croped and black with a black inner fur lining, fake of course as they only cost £7 ha, my friend even leant me money to pay for them as i ahd none left and they were the last ones - lucky they were my size eh. i got a cute little teddy bear pendant neclace from the same shop that day its in-bedded with crystals ( obviously not realy) and has a little black nose, all it's limbs move around too so you can make it do little dances or walk about aswell, verry amusing.

wel thats pretty much all i have to say
ill proberly go off to bed now

I also found some new pieces today .......

This dress is amazzing although id never be able to afford it, reminds me of the YSL range Kate advertised.

I really love this girls cardi but you cant get it anywhere :(

I Love this, want it for my holidays ....

I've always wanted a piar of these ruffle pants from urban outfitters :)

These are amazing and would go with a whole load of coulors.

This is really great but would be even better as dress, i suppose if you bought it in a larger size it could be .....then it would be amazing.

March,13th

Not too much happened today, I picked my subjects for 5th year - that was kinda big. Decided on higher English, maths, business studies, Biology and Int2 Art - as i never took it in 3/4th year. hopefully ill get to do higher in 6th year. I got the new issue of Look which was full of stuff id really like but can't afford as always, however i was dissapointed at the new Giles for New Look launch - i never really liked any of the pieces evven though they were modelled by Agnes Deyn and she had an influence on the designs, i would have expected better.

I was looking at the street chic pages on Ellegirl today, these outfits are pretty awesome: ^^

March,11th

To begin with i wasn't too sure about these, but now i love them. They'd be great to smarten up a casual summer outfit. Topshop

I've never really been a fan of the fringe trend but these i like, they'd go perfectly with a simple white cotton skirt. £28,Urban Outfitters.

I spotted this on Stylefinder, It's only £9 from La Redoute, i really love the coulor too and chiffon its so elegant.

I love the frills on this they make it so feminie and the colour would go so well with my skintone, I'm going to tenerife soon too, hopefull i can get it for my birthday :)

Found these on ASOS, i really need a pair of blue or navy heels , i only have black heels just now.

Well today was a little boring so i thought I'd write about yeasterday aswell.

So yesterday was a complete skive, most of my teachers were off so i had this supply - Mr.Stalker - pretty much all day.
On the way home from school we stopped off at tesco and i got the March issue of Vouge which is always my favourite as it is the main spring issue and my birthday month :) and i also got some paris spray and new shampoo and conditioner which i had been long awaiting as recently all my allowance has gone into birthdays and mother's day, so i was in a great mood. When i got home Ralph came round for a bit which was really great, we just sat on the bed, watched tv and talked for ages. When it was time for him to leave i had to learn my french talk which i hate doing as i can never remember them, although i did a pretty good job this time. But while i was doing this i had my ipod on shuffle and usually i have to skip a few songs to get to the good ones but this time it continually kept playing all my favourite tracks which really got me in the mood to put together some outfits and check all the fashion pages online. This was really fun and soon lead me to the idea of taking a picture of this amazing outfit i'd put together and entering it into the Teen Vogue snapshot of the month, it was all going smoothly untill my camera decided to brake just as the picture had began to load onto the computer - so this lowered my mood. I then just decided to have a shower.
It's becoming increasingly hard for me to fit everything in these days what with ralph, revision for the exams - which i havent even started yet , homework, tv, the internet, tutors, shopping and so on.

Today was a total contradiction or yesterday. I did soo much work in each period annnd i did really well in my french writiting exam. At lunch me and my friend Rachel went back to hers and went on this Ultimate Ninjas site people had been talking about recently. You should go on it it's actually the funniest thing ive heard in agees , made me smile.
When i got home i found a package at the door adressed to me ! It was the Fendi scarf i ordered ages ago, it got me pretty excited. I opened it and wasnt disappointed, its amazing - really silky and pretty, i think ill wear it tomorrow, can't wait. I hope the Uggs i ordered off ebay are comming soon and that they will actually be real, if not im going to have to send them back and that would be a real disapointment, you can never properly tust ebay.
I then had to go to my Maths tutor who lives miles away but i really don't mind because I like listening to Scott Mills on the way and my ipod on the way back, also shes really nice and her baby sons the cutest thing. Tonight i've just been on all the usual sites i go on, Found some new pieces from Urban Outfitters and Topshop I'd quite like and also some new sites to go on.
I put some up top ^
